Community Service
Throughout my decades of traveling the world with my family, I have developed a great appreciation for community. Wherever I go, I make every effort to connect with the people around me and find ways I can give back to the communities that have welcomed me and given me a home. My love of community is what spawned my lifetime of work as a humanitarian and embedded within me a great passion for connecting people to the resources and opportunities that they need. Where a resource is missing, I make it; Where support is lacking, I recruit it; and where optimism is dimming, I light it. I do all of this and more with the ultimate goal of uplifting and supporting those most vulnerable across the world.
Keesler Medical Center Murals
At the Keesler Medical Center, I brought together dozens of community members to paint sixteen different themed rooms for the pedantic inpatient ward. On the walls in the rooms there were I-Spy games, beautiful murals, and intricate paintings. The project took around two hundred hours to complete and during the outreach, patients, families and medical staff were able to feel the love of the community.

University of San Francisco Design Collective
Founder and Vice President
The University of San Francisco Design Collective (DC) was formed to create a community of students interested in pursuing ideas in design beyond the classroom. Through this organization, members will gain the resources needed to move into the professional design world. Members will participate in workshops, field trips, lectures, exhibitions, and other events to create a community of their own. I served as a co-founded and sat as the Vice President from 2020-2022.

University of San Francisco Military Veterans Club
Founder and President
The mission of the Military Veterans of the University of San Francisco (MVUSF) is to provide individuals who have served or are currently serving our country in one of the six branches of the Armed Forces with the support they need to achieve success both during and after their time at the University of San Francisco. I helped to create the club in 2017 in order to have a space for veterans within the school to come together to build a community of people who can support each other having gone through similar situations. In addition to general veteran advocacy on campus, the MVUSF also provides mentorship to ensure veterans get the most out of their VA benefits, conducts networking and social events, and provides a space for veteran students to congregate.
